Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, stated that while there are ideological differences between the aforementioned parties, these differences are not so great as to prevent them from being overlooked for the good of the group at the joint opposition meeting, which was organised in Bengaluru to bring together 26 opposition parties and give them a common agenda to take on the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

On Tuesday, Kharge stated, "We are aware that there are divisions between some of us at the state level. These divisions are not ideological in nature.
